From Drama Desk Award nominees Neil Bartram and Brian Hill (The Story of My Life), The Theory of Relativity
is a joyous and moving look about our surprisingly interconnected
lives. Whether you're allergic to cats, in love for the first or tenth
time, a child of divorce, a germaphobe or simply a unique individual,
audience members and actors alike are sure to find themselves in this
fresh new musical.
Through a seemingly unrelated collection of songs, scenes and monologues, The Theory of Relativity introduces a compelling array of characters experiencing the joys and heartbreaks, the liaisons and losses, the inevitability and the wonder of human connection.
The Teen production of The Theory of Relativity will be produced along side the adult production of the same show. The teen actors will rehearse independently from the adult cast but they will have the opportunity to interact with the actors of the adult production, picking up added character and insights from the more experienced adult actors. This is a change to learn, grow and have fun all at the same time.
Rehearsals for the teen production will be held on Mondays & Thursdays from 6:30-8:00pm and Saturdays from 12:00-3:00pm starting December 9th. Additional rehearsals may be added for the week before the first performance. The teen production of The Theory of Relativity will perform matinee shows on February 8th and 15th.
Absences will be allowed if noted on your audition form. No absences will be accepted for the week before the first performance or the performances.
