Conner Stevens is so excited to assist for Miss Jeanette’s after-school musical theater program and to run the new Video Production Summer Camp. He recently discovered a passion for the stage after working as a film actor for 12 years and he wants to inspire kids to have fun working on something as collaborative and creative as theatre. His theater credits include Diesel/Riff understudy (ARTs production of West Side Story), Scorpius Malfoy (19 Years Later), and Will Parker (ARTS production of Oklahoma!).
In addition to performing on stage and on film, Conner is also a filmmaker with a bachelors degree for film production from Cal State University Northridge, a top 30 film school worldwide. As an actor, the process of being on the other side of the camera began to fascinate him, and he started to study production with an emphasis in editing. While attending CSUN, he became certified in AVID Media Composer, the industry standard editing software, in order to produce professional content. His most recent film as an editor is "Kuanza," directed by Ariel Ford, which was sponsored by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and ARRI. Connor would love to start imparting some valuable knowledge to young filmmakers.
